Air Conditioning Systems and Sizing Factors

If you aren’t sure what type of air conditioning system is best for your home, just give the heating and air conditioning experts at Premier Indoor Comfort Systems LLC a call. We’ll be glad to discuss your options, or send someone to your home to assess your current system or ductwork. When replacing an older air conditioner, you may find that it is more cost–effective to switch to a different type of system, such as upgrading central AC to a ductless mini split.

The condition of your ductwork and square footage of your home will both help determine the type and size of system that will effectively meet your needs. We can help you determine that when we assess your current system and home. We offer quality brands and comprehensive air conditioning installation services including removal of old equipment.

Installing an air conditioner properly means avoiding a number of problems. Loose bolts and poorly fitted components will result in increased wear and tear almost immediately: raising your bills and the risk of a breakdown in equal course. Quality installation avoids those issues and gets your system off on the right foot.

Understanding SEER Ratings

All air conditioning systems are given a seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER). When you are in the market for a new AC system, you’ll need to understand how they are rated to help you select the most cost–effective system for your home. What is important for homeowners to know is that models with higher numbers are more efficient. Any system made today must have a SEER rating of at least 13 to meet the minimum energy–efficiency requirements. You can also look for other energy–saving features or the Energy Star label. Call us if you would like to know more about efficiency ratings and the air conditioning systems that we install.

Trust in Our Air Conditioning System Installation & Replacement Services

The qualified HVAC technicians at Premier Indoor Comfort Systems LLC are trained to install all types of air conditioning systems, and we offer a wide selection of high–efficiency models. Air Conditioning Repair vs. AC Replacement

When you are trying to decide whether or not costly or frequent repairs are more cost–effective than installing a new air conditioner, we can help you compare the two options. When we provide routine maintenance or air conditioning repairs, we’ll also test your system’s efficiency and assess the overall condition of the entire system. Some homeowners have faulty ductwork that needs to be replaced choose to install a ductless mini split, the decision should be based on a professional duct testing and inspection by a qualified contractor.

We’ll also help you choose a system that is the right size if you are replacing or upgrading your current system. Many contractors install oversized systems to account for any potential extreme weather conditions; however, there the load calculations based on square footage should not be oversized above a certain number. We are qualified to install all types of AC systems and help you choose the right one for your home and cooling needs. Call today!

It can be hard sometimes to tell when your old air conditioner needs replacing and when you can tough it out for another few summers. It mostly comes down to the cost: if your cooling bills are spiking for no reason, if your system is breaking down more often than normal, and if it’s more than a decade old or more, it might be time to call in a repair service.

Lennox HVAC System – by , on May 30, 2017
5 / 5 stars
We had a complete Lennox HVAC System installed by your company this week. From diagnosis of the old system through the complete installation of a new system, we experienced nothing but professionalism from the Premier technician, manager, and installer in Bryson City, NC. A big part of the job required fabrication. The installers worked diligently to ensure that we had heat before leaving our house. Both the inside and outside of our house were left in a CLEAN condition. Both the technician and manager have made followup visits to ensure that all continues to work as it should. We would definitely recommend this Company for anyone needing Heating and Air Conditioning.
